Shaker Peg Shelf

I put a few coats of white paint on the unfinished shaker pegs.
This is my existing shelf that I wanted to turn into a towel rack for the bathroom.
Positioning the pegs.
I used a 1/2 drill bit to make these holes.
Using some acrylic paints, I added a little detail to the end of the pegs with some simple flowers.  Ready to hang! :)

I discovered a need in one of my bathrooms for some more storage space, but I also needed an additional place to hang towels.  So I thought I'd do both by transforming an existing shelf I had laying around.  I drilled some holes, added some shaker pegs, and viola, a shelf and towel rack combo!
