My husband surprised me by bringing home the Brother sewing machine, Project Runway edition. I was a bit overwhelmed as I'm new to sewing and like things on the simple side.

The PR Brother has a lot of different options for stitches and inter-changeable feet (which I haven't dared to mess with yet).

Luckily, even though the machine looked quite daunting it is a DREAM to sew with. It's very smooth and can go nice and slow for my beginners pace, it also was super easy to thread (and this is coming from someone who is very directionally challenged). So far I have made a wrist pincushion but I'm working on a few tutorials from this site.

I would highly recommend this machine to pros and novices a like.
