I really liked the idea of reusable produce bags since I have enough junk I throw away on a daily basis. Here is one less item. I followed the instructions in the original article and they were so easy to make that I did a whole stack of them (6) in one sitting! The body of the bag is nylon mesh which does not unravel, therefore I did not worry about finishing the seams. I used cotton yarn for the drawstrings which I braided because I did not like the look of loose strands of yarn. Braiding the yarn turned out to be the most labor intensive part of this whole project.  I still have some netting left and I think I will make the next set of bags a little bit wider for the lettuces and other bulky veggies.
