Drawstring Purse hand knitted with VHS tape, NASHUA "Julia" yarn, and NORO "Sakura" yarn. The play of the colorful purple yarns contrasts in a lively way with the black videotape. The body of the purse is built upon a square bottom of garter stitch, 4 1/2" square. The height of the bag is eight inches. This is a cheerful and functional manner to upcycle materials!
