Flower Brooch
comments (0) May 7th, 2010 in galleryThe petals and leaves for this flower brooch were sewn in the sewing machine embroidery hoop on two layers of silk organza. They were cut out and stacked on top of each other. Basting stitches were sewn by hand in a circle around the center of the flower and pulled tight to bring the flower to life. The rhinestone button was sewn on top of the stitching in the center. The flower can be used as a brooch, as a hair accessory, on a necklace, on a belt, or on purse.
