A butterfly hat

This is a summer hat for my daughter with her choice of fabric and embroidery. She loved the pre-embroidered denim fabric and the hat pattern (Ottobre Designs 2/04 #13).
The exterior & lower brim of the hat is made from butterfly embroidered denim. The upper brim is from plain denim and it is lined with pink poplin.
The butterfly is embroicdered using a built in design from my PE750II on the plain denim, some stablilizer and backed on white cotton. The thread is a purple varigated thread and the bobbin thread was white. The butterfly is stitched onto the brim of the hat overtop of the body stitching.
