My first two coiled fabric bowls

this was made for a 25th wedding aniversary gift and is my second bowl.  the loops were ment to be verticle but I really liked how they ended up turning out.  The picture does not show it very well, but the loops are all the same shape and angles.
this is my first coiled fabric bowl.  it measures 3.5 inches high and 8 inches in diameter.

These are the first two fabric bowls I made.  They are a lot of fun to sew.  I find the fabric and rope have a mind of their own.  Neither of the bowls turned out how I had planned, but they ended up to be better.  I'm going to be adding an artistic flare to the bowls I make and think I had a pretty good start with the second bowl.
