Handwoven Rustic Appeal
comments (0) May 18th, 2010 in galleryTo me this is the shawl that goes with everything. But then I wear Brown ALOT!!
The colors in the shawl are a mix of Olive Green, Terracotta, Chocolate Brown, Heather Grey and all the shades in between.
This shawl is handwoven on my Rigid Heddle Loom.
I used a Light Grey RECLAIMED yarn for the warp and the Multicolored yarn for the weft.
This RECLAIMED yarn came from a fellow etsian at:
www.AuracaunaDesigns.etsy.com
The "Ingredients" of the yarn is:
Weft - 35% Acrylic, 35% Nylon, 23% Wool and 7% Angora
Warp- 96% Acrylic and 4% Polyester
The measurements on this shawl are approx. 68" long plus fringe x 14" wide.
This shawl would be great for that special evening out!
This can also be used as a table runner.
Washing Directions:
Hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
Pattern or design used: My own design - Not Just Bags
