These are a set of 4 handmade quilted coasters, measuring 4” by 4”. The front of the coaster is pieced together using 2 different contrasting fabrics. The back is made up of a single piece of fabric; usually a solid color would be used. Triple stitching is applied to corners to strengthen them. Only straight machine stitches are used in sewing up the coasters. Slip stitching is also used to close a 2” opening as an invisible stitch. Top Stitching is added to give the coasters added dimensions and also as an optional manner for adding a sewing label.
