This is a handmade tote bag measuring 10” by 12” and able to fit in 1 or 2 A4 books. It uses interfacing to give it some support and has its own lining to hide ugly seams. The shoulder straps can be made using the same fabric or contrasting fabrics and has a drop of approximately 7”. Multiple straps can be made for a different look. Triple stitching is applied to corners and stress points to strengthen them. Only straight machine stitches are used in sewing up this bag. Slip stitching is also used to close a 2” opening as an invisible stitch.
