Upcycled Felt & DenimFlower Cuff
comments (0) May 20th, 2010 in galleryWhenever I buy jeans, I always have to hem them, being slightly vertically challenged. Instead of throwing away the pieces I cut off, I decided to recycle them. I liked how the edges frayed so I kept it that way.
The flower is made from wool felt and a vintage wooden button from my stash completed it. I sewed on a whopper popper (=huge snap) as the closure.
My 4 year old daughter loves to wear it even though it's way to big for her.
I'd love to win the contest so I have fun fabrics to make some summer dresses for my lovely model above.
