Bow Tie
comments (0) May 21st, 2010 in galleryI made these bowties for my 5 year old son. I made a fabric tube, turned and pressed it, then cut to length. I assembled the two layers and used fabric glue to add the little pleats. I used a narrower fabric tube to create the knot and glued in place. Once the fabric glue was dry I used a do-it-all adhesive to glue a button cover to the back to hold in place on the top button without a strangulation hazard. He really likes wearing one to church and wears a different one each week.
