The Woven Gemini Bag
Purse side has a pocket for everything!
The project side has a clear pocket for the pattern and pockets for everthing else needed to work on my latest project, no matter where I am.
And for those things I cant seem to live without, theres a Big zippered center pocket.
The Gemini bag is 14 wide, 7 deep and 13 tall.  It has two handles and a zipper closure.  Both zippers and the two D rings on the strap handles were recycled from an old computer case.  The clear plastc used for the pattern pocket was purchased at the thrift store.  The yarns used to weave the outside and the black microsuede fabric used for the top band and straps were left over from other projects.  The lining fabric was the only thing purchased new for this bag.

The Woven Gemini Bag

I've always like to take a creative project with me where ever I go. (Never learned the concept of sitting still.)  Rather than carrying two bags, a purse and a craft bag, I designed and made the Gemini Bag.  It's BOTH, with two sides, one for my purse and the other for my latest project , with 33 (Yes... 33!) pockets to hold anything and everything I could possibly need.  The outside of the bag was woven on two boxes using yarn remnants and strips of the lining fabric.
