Light as a feather!  I used the plastic from a jug, cut the shape I wanted, sanded the edges and chose tissue paper I wanted to use.  I used a glue stick to apply the tissue paper on the front and back.  After the tissue paper dried I sprayed them with a clear finish.  Using the hardware from an old pair of earings I punched a hole in the top and there you have it- newly used, recycled earrings.  : )
