30s inspired twirly purple dress

I have always loved the twirly gored skirts of the 1930s. 
The back closes up with snaps!  (I didnt have a zipper long enough)
This dress is so full and twirly!

 The pattern for this dress is the same as my "Blue Embroidered Princess Dress", but with different sleeves and godets added to the hemline.  I also opted to cut the gores on the bias for this version, so the skirt is extra drapey.  Narrow "spaghetti strap" tubing accents the waistline subtly.

It only took me about 4 hours to complete this dress, even with the problems I ran into.  I'm definitely going to make more like it soon!
