Dresses to be worn again
comments (2) July 23rd, 2010 in galleryThese dresses were made using a Burda style pattern. The original pattern called for lace accents. Since we could not find lace to compliment the colors of the Dupionni silk fabric chosen we came across the fabric shown in photo 1.
By pleating the fabric we recreated a lace 'photo 2' look for the bodice and hem. The colors were of a great compliment to all the colors of the dresses. Think of the colors of the Gerber daisies and you will get a great since of the colors of these garments.

Just wondering if you have a pattern number? I've looked and looked, but can't seem to find it anywhere...
