Europe Tote
July 31st, 2008 in galleryEntry for: Omni-Crafter's Special
Title: Europe Tote
How I made it: Designed it to be current with Spring 2008 trends: Hardware meets soft natural colors and an accent color that matches my wardrobe. Inside I designed the lining to be part of the outside so it looked more professional. I added a zippered pocket inside along with 5 open pockets--all designed for my specific items as well as the functional accent pockets on the outside. I added magnetic clasps to the bag and 2 outside pockets. I designed this bag to be functional for a trip I was taking to Europe. I redid the handles when I got back from my trip to be more comfy. Inside I also added a special yarn threader so my knitting wouldn't get tangled when inside.
Why I should win: this was the very first bag I ever made from my own design (I'd only made 1 tote bag and one non-tote prior to that. I love this bag--it works great!
