Free Thread Drawing
August 1st, 2008 in sewing, embroidery, quiltingWant to try the Top 50 colors of Iris Embroidery Thread...for free?! Of course you do!
What exactly is Iris thread? It's this brand new polyester embroidery thread. It is a true 40 weight embroidery thread which means better coverage in your designs. The sheen of this polyester thread can be compared to rayon thread but it is bleach resistant and won't fade in the sun. There are currently 300 colors of Iris thread so that means a color or shade for any project your working on. It's all I have been using recently in my embroidery and I love it! This is a great article about the different types of embroidery thread if you don't know the differences. If you're a real reader, check out this awesome article about thread in general...I never knew there was so much to know about thread!
To enter the drawing, go to my website and click on the contest button, fill out the entry form and that's it! You may be one of 5 winners that I announce in October so keep your eye on the site!

I thought that this was post for a new embroidery technique, like freehand drawing, only with thread.
