UnfinishedProjects is the winner of SewStylish's Dress to Impress contest! Her dress inspired by an old photo of her grandmother helped her win first prize. She is now the recipient of a Style Basic dress form from Manne-King and a $50 gift card from Britex notions.

I love to sew, and I also love to write! I started a blog called "The Unfinished Project Party" which is based on the idea that we, as a busy women, still need a creative outlet, despite our hectic schedules. It’s time to carve out four hours a month just for you—four hours where you can push the pause button on work, take a break from Mommyville, and grant yourself an afternoon full of fun, fabric and friends at an Unfinished Project Party!

The first Unfinished Project Party started when I realized that I was guilty of being a “Serial Project Starter,” but not a “Project Finisher.” I had several sewing projects that I needed to complete, but never had the time to finish them. So I invited a few girlfriends over one Saturday and we spent the entire afternoon working on our projects. And guess what? I got all of my projects done and had a great time doing it! Thus, the Unfinished Project Party was born. Now once a month, I invite all of my girlfriends over to work on their unfinished projects, and I encourage you to do the same!
