Who says there is nothing on TV? Knitting Daily TV offers a daily dose of needlework projects, ideas and tips for knitters and crocheters plus segments on felting and stitching. A team of expert magazine editors hailing from the Interweave Press family of fiberarts publications co-host the show bringing a wealth of info to fiber fanatics nationwide. The show will have interactive properties allowing for multiple communication channels beyond the basic DYI/Craft TV offerings we have been accustomed to. The companion website encourages multi-media immersion with video, interactive discussion, pattern downloads and a MySpace, Facebook and YouTube footprint. You can become part of the show as they answer your needle arts questions or feature your creations on their episodes.
Sponsored by Interweave Press, Louet, Fiesta/Ironstone and Webs, each show presents a variety of great how-to projects utilizing some of the finest fibers available on the market. Recent episodes include a look at the luxury fibers we crave and how to care for them, demystifying lace, creating home décor and all kinds of felting fun.
Formerly known as Needle Arts Studio with Shay Pendray, the show airs on local PBS stations. Check out in Knitting Daily’s website to see when and where you can catch it in your area. If you are unable to pick up the show, Interweave is offering all 13 episodes on DVD for only $39.99 so you can savor the show at your leisure.
