How to write between layers in resin

In one of my earlier projects I used east indian ink and a nib pin on resin. First I poured a layer of clear resin in a mould. I let it cure for a day and then I dipped my nib pin in east indian ink and carefully wrote / draw some zodiac signs in this layer. This ink dries real quick and this makes it easy to pour the last layer -I used a colored one- over the ink after minutes.

Some of these pendants are for sale in my shop.
