Threads Senior Technical Editor, Judith Neukam demonstrates how to cut out a jacket pattern and follow the guide sheets to start making jacket components using Simplicity Pattern 2424 in the latest episode from their beginner sewing series, Teach Yourself to Sew. In Make a Jacket: Part 1, you will learn some new skills, but you may need to refer back to earlier episodes from the series for certain techniques. Check back next week to see how all of the components come together to make a fabulous jacket in Part 2.
