Convertible Dress Attempt Two

Love it! no recommendations

This is my second attempt at making the convertible dress.  I think it turned out pretty well.  Last time I didn't put enough elastic for the skirt waist, but this time I was spot on.  It is a pretty cotton jersey, so there is plenty of stretch and movement.  Unfortunately, I only had 2 yards (I was planning on making a shirt with it, but that never happened) so the circle skirt ended up as an oval.  It made it asymmetrical at the hem, and I'm not sure I like that...  I think tomorrow I will cut the skirt up to the shorter part of the oval and add a crocheted hem with yarn this color.  I might also put a crocheted edge on the straps.  Hopefully this will add some length to the hem and a finished look as well.  I also put a green tank top underneath it to make it more wearable for me.  The dress has enough coverage so I won't get arrested, but not enough for a dinner with my grandparents :)
