Freeform crochet is crochet work that falls outside the realms of following patterns or traditional guidelines... basically, just having fun with it, combining different textures, colors and types of yarn to create a truly unique piece of crocheted work. Sometimes the work is wearable (as with the projects in Myra Wood's new book, Creative Crochet Lace) and it's always amazing to look at. Check out Myra's free demo to get an idea of how many freeform pieces are worked, then look at the gallery on her website for more freeform inspiration.

LindaPermann writes: LornaD- I assume so since it is mentioned on the page describing the book- but I recommend checking out the book in person if you want to be sure before you buy.
