Wool Vest with detachable cape
comments (1) September 13th, 2010 in galleryThis wool vest I made about 2 and half years ago with detachable cape (attched by 3 small snaps around neck line). Fabric is 100% wool, very soft and light, orange silky nilon lining. I used 6 oversize buttons and made bar-embroidered button holes. The back was cut at waist and stitched with waistband and ruffled. With detachable cape it still suits for wearing in the office as well as outdoor. To attach the cape to the vest I used 2 medium size snaps handstitched at the inner collar edges.
The color is perfect and until this Fall is still hot color trend. I love to wear this vest with my riding jeans.
