Hi, I’m Susan Beal—I’m a jewelry designer and writer in Portland, Oregon. I’m very excited to be contributing to the CraftStylish site! I also write a daily general craft blog, West Coast Crafty, and I have a new jewelry-making book out, Bead Simple, which has 150 projects to make, from earrings to embellishments.

I love reworking vintage pieces and recycling unusual materials into something new and unexpected, as well as shopping at my favorite bead stores. I’m looking forward to spotlighting some of my favorite resources, designers, and tips for all things jewelry-related, as the blog gets going. Thanks for reading!
