Blue Plaid Handwoven Jacket
comments (1) September 16th, 2010 in galleryI handwove the fabric in this jacket. It is made from a combinatin of silk, rayon and chenille. I dyed all the yarn. The blue is 20 shades of different blues that I experimented with and combined to create rich looking color. This is a double breasted jacket. The lining is a blue silk which I dyed to match the jacket. The buttons are chunky in an unusual grey and black combination which I found in Los Angeles and matches the jacket nicely.
