This is a purse I made with my own pattern from two old shirts and two old neckties.  The bag is fully reversible.  One side is made from a red, blue, and gree plaid button down shirt, and the other side is made from a zip down navy blue corduroy shirt.  The front of the bag has the button closure from the middle of the shirt, and the (still functional!) front pocket.  The corduroy side of the bag has part of the shirt's zipper (also still functional) going horizontally across the bag.

The handle is made from two old neckties, one for the inside and one for the outside of the bag.  The plaid half of the bag has an equally awesome red and green plaid tie wrapping around to form the handle.  The corduroy half of the bag has a blue, green, red, and yellow striped tie for the handle.  I made this bag as a birthday gift for a good friend, but you can expect to see more bags similar to this for sale at my Etsy store
