If you're new to the art of quilting, knitting, weaving or any other craft that involves using strips of fabric, check out this little fabric cutter. Without the huge expense of buying a rotary cutter, mat and ruler, you can cut accurate strips quickly and easily! (Even if you're already outfitted to use a rotary cutter, you still might want to check it out!) The Strip-It clamps onto the edge of your table. Simply pull your fabric through the cutter to make strips (almost like magic!). Cut four 1/4" strips or two 1/2" strips at one time. Wider strips, 3/4", 1", and 1-1/4", are cut one at a time—but so fast!

With your new ability to create mountains of fabric strips without lots of effort, you might want to try something new. Maybe try crocheting your own rag rug!  (If that tempts you, check out the easy tutorial that I found on the DIY network.) You can get your Strip-It fabric cutter at Clotide.com. They also have replacement blades.
