Tips to Thread By
February 4th, 2008 in sewingWhen you're creating garments you want to last for years, keep these two factors in mind:
1. Use a thread that's not as strong as the fabric. In times of stress, your stitches will break long before your fabric starts to tear. (You can always restitch, but you can’t repair damaged fabric.)
2. Make sure your thread can handle the same heat and steam settings as your fashion fabric.
