Reversible DeepGreen Corduroy-Fur Jacket
comments (1) October 18th, 2010 in galleryThis jacket is Reversible with big width collar and raw edges. This is my design, draft and sew. I don't use any pattern.
I found it was interesting to combine 2 of these fabric types: a bit stretching corduroy and fashion fur which had one side is knit and the other is cotton-polyester fur.
All the seams I kept raw edges by put both wrongsides together and stitched on top, basically 4 layers at seam line. Sleeves widen at the end with 2.5' wristbands which opened abit like V .
With XL collar so it's easy to play with: wide-open with/without scarf or lift it up around neck inteads of using scarf...
Cause of reverting there was no button for this jacket as I used 2 small black metal hook hand-stitched at the edges of each side. Love to wear it with big width leather belt.
