Cute Tea Stain Vintage Victorian Inspired Altered Baby Onesie
comments (0) October 25th, 2010 in galleryFor that vintage baby look, we've created this darling cotton baby onesie by altering it to give it an old vintage look using an organic tea stain process and vintage embellishments. The neckline and sleeves are trimmed in a creamy vintage hand crocheted lace. There are two vintage black little satin buttons for contrast. On the back we added a tiny corset ruffle in black resembling the ruffles down the back of the victorian dresses back in the 1800's and up. The ruffle is trimmed with more of the vinage lace and a bit larger size black satin vintage button in its center. This is placed at the waist line right above baby's little bum. Each button has been hand sewed securely It’s very simple but absolutely adorable! If you love the look of vintage and the tea stain look, you will love this for your baby. It’s much more adorable and sweeter than the photos show. It really is just the cutest thing!
Color variation and small irregularities are to be expected, and they are not necessarily an imperfection. They are part of the charm and character of the tea dying process.
