Using super saver yarn, the leaf on the left I added two extra stitches to the first round so I could spread out the massive amount of stuff you put in the top st of the pattern. The leaf on the right follows the pattern exactly, and was done with the suggested size hook of F. I usually crochet a little tight, so I bumped it up to an H (5.00), for the one on the left, to see if I liked that better, and I DO! This pattern was pretty easy, I really like it!

SummerSand writes: Thanks for sharing your lovely version. I am just getting ready to make this for my fall decorations. My question is "When you say you added 2 extra stitches to the first round, do you mean extra chain stitches or 2 extra DC stitches to the first round? I like your version even more for its fullness to the leaf which makes it even more dynamic.
