This necklace was born out of my interest in the "Eggs in a Nest" model. I decided to try my hand at it and came up with a small nest that was too small for my liking. I thought to incorporate it into another piece - a bigger one - and perhaps make a pendant.
What better place to put a nest than a tree? I decided to try my hand at making the "Tree of Life" model and placed my nest in it. Hmmm... I still thought something was missing.
I went one step further and crocheted the necklace for it using the same materials as the pendant for a more unified look. Viola! My piece felt made. *smile*
