This creative cocktail dress is fashioned from Coca Cola cans. I love the pleated skirt and the intricate bustier.
The necklace is made from pop tops and bottle caps!
This design from the summer of 2007 is very architectural in a city famous for its architecture.
The fashions are blooms  themselves.
They become part of the garden.
Tailored and crisp -- perfect for a garden party.

One of the many cool things to see when you visit Chicago in the summer – among all the wonderful things about that city – are the huge gardens along Michigan Avenue. And for the past two years, embedded in many of the glorious gardens, are fashionable mannequins “dressed” by students from the International Academy of Design and Technology and the Illinois Institute of Art.  The designs are so creative, using materials that withstand the elements. It’s like an episode of Project Runway right there on the Magnificent Mile to enjoy and study up close. I think they’re up for another month or so. If you’re a “fashionista,” and in the area – check them out.
