Announcing JunkMarket Stylecomments (1) August 20th, 2008
If you enjoy flea markets and restyling projects, check out JunkMarketStyle.com. This new junking website features how-to projects from Junk Beautiful author Sue Whitney, including the "Vintage Vise Frame" pictured above.
Check out member projects and upload your own restyle projects to the "member junk" gallery. In just two days, over 100 junkers have joined the community.
"Hot spots" will help you to find the best flea markets around. Browse by state to locate junk markets in your area. I know I plan to hit The Elephant's Trunk one Sunday soon. Now that I will be living closer to the CraftStylish compound (I am moving next week), it will be easier to find the time. I hear it is one of the biggest and best flea markets in Connecticut. Let us know if you notice any hot spots on the list that you recommend (or if there are any missing that should be added).
Join this new community of junkers and head over to JunkMarket Style. Introduce yourself to the JunkMarket team, locate a "hot spot," find some inspiration for a new project, and then upload the finished product to the "member junk" gallery.
