Hand-Drawn & Painted Necklaces

I made these necklaces out of shrink plastic. I hand-drew them, then "painted" with colored pencils and ink. They were really fun to make and gave me another way to use my colored pencils. The "Ruff N' Ready" brand of shrink plastic works fantastic with colored pencil.

Liebling writes: Gorgeous work! I'd love to know how you shrink them. I tried a project once with shrinky dinks and they kept warping. Any tips?

ArtByMAR writes: Thanks mypye! I used color pencil to color these. The rough & ready plastic shrink sheets work very well with color pencil. Paint works okay but tends to get too dark once they are baked.
