More Free Designs than You'll Know What to Do With!
comments (1) August 26th, 2008If you own an embroidery machine, you may visit the website of the manufacturer of the brand that you bought. For example, I own a Pfaff embroidery machine, so I frequently visit the Pfaff website to check out the new stuff available for my machine. Did you know that all sewing-machine manufacturers offer free embroidery designs on their websites? And even better than that, you can take advantage of these designs even if you don't own their particular brand? This is very exciting because it will give you a lot to choose from, and you might just find that special design that you were looking for...for free!
There's only one hitch—if you do download a design off a competitor's website, it will not be in the format that your embroidery machine recognizes. Most embroidery software has a feature that allows you to convert designs into the format that your machine will accept. If you don't own any software, you can visit Embird.com and download a free, 30-day trial version. Embird will convert embroidery designs for you. It is really easy to use, and if you like it, you can purchase it right from their website...it costs much less than most embroidery software programs.
Here is a list of links to free designs offered by different sewing-machine manufacturers.
