Jute and brass chain necklace

To make this necklace you will need a small crochet hook, fairly thin jute, brass chain, random charms and large brass jump rings.

Use the jute and crochet a simple chain stitch about seven inches long.  Tie off both ends securely.  Determine the desired length of your necklace.  Attach enough chain to the jute to approximate desired length (wear it long- the jute scratches- best on top of clothing).  No need for clasps as you can pull the necklace on over your head.

Use the large brass jump rings to attach random charms placing the heaviest charm at the center bottom of the necklace..  all done!
