What tricks have you found for fitting sleeves?

Adjusting the length of your sleeve isn't always easy. Share some of your struggles while fitting sleeves. What tricks have you found?

hilchad writes: I had an incredibly hard time with sleeves, then I read a tip from another sewer. First, sew your body. Then measure it. then cut your sleeve within an inch. It should sew right in!

Sewing_and_Style_Den writes: pinning at close as possible and stretching the fabric across when stitching really helps eliminating the plucking
