Lee Meredith's DIY Jewelry Frame and Knitting Needle Accessories
September 2nd, 2008 in jewelry making, knitting, restyle, home decoratingLee Meredith came up with a fun, ingenious idea to display her rapidly growing jewelry collection: she stretched fishnet stockings right over an old photo frame and added nails to hang necklaces and pendants, and a ribbon for post earrings. As a bonus, she covered a plain lampshade with the other leg of the stocking for an instant style makeover! Her how-to and more photos are here.
Lee is also a very talented knitter and has some fantastic patterns and kits for sale, but some of my favorites are the necklaces and bracelets in her knitting-needle jewelry collection. They look especially pretty decorated with stitch-marker charms! She's posted a how-to over at Threadbanger, or you can browse the finished pieces in her shop.
