lorig488 writes: I would love to have the opportunity to win this book. 30 years ago I helped make a family quilt for an aunt and uncle celebrating their 40th Anniversary. At that time I promised myself that when I retired I would start quilting. I have just turned 65 and have 8 weeks left to work. I am facing two hip replacements this year and think that teaching myself to quilt while I am layed up will be a promise coming to fruition.

Bjwoolsey writes: I am also new to quilting, my grand-mother was a quilter. She gave me a beautiful Log Cabin quilt when I was a very young girl. I have always wanted to learn how to quilt. My grand-mother passed before she was able to teach us how to quilt. I would love to be able to pass the tradition on to my daughters.
