These hearts were made from handmade paper.  I used a specially shaped deckle, so each heart is actually an individually made sheet of paper.  The hearts are embellished with little flowers.  There is a piece of vellum attached to the back of the card for a legible writing surface and it's tied off with a decorative bow.  You can see more pictures at my etsy shop, http://www.etsy.com/shop/zuzu2u
