My first dresses for the girls.  They wore these for Halloween one year.  Even though I can go back and pick out many mistakes this is one of my favorite all time photos.  The girls wore these dresses until they couldnt zip them up anymore.  They want to save them for their girls.  It made a momma proud.  That and its easy to sew when you have two beautiful models.
Alex picked out the fabric and so I made this jacket for her.  It took a few trys but I did it and shes so proud to wear it.
This was a dress I made Alex for her 7th Birthday Surprise.  I also made the purse for her.  Its a little big but was intended to be that way so she can continue to play in it.  What I didnt realize was that this pattern had a little extra room for ummm her chest.  I realized this after catching her stuffing her dress.  Opps.
I love to sew and got the girls to pick out fabric and sew their grandmothers pillows.  I took lots of pictures and give both the pillows and a little photo book I got from snapfish.com.  It was a big hit.  They each made their father one too.  Letting them pick out projects and fabric allows me to stay in JoAnn Fabrics a little longer.  lol
Here is my little Autumn with her twin doll.  I learned to expand an 18 inch doll pattern using my scanner at 120%.  This allowed me to make the 22 inch doll clothes.  Autumn picked out the pattern and all the fabric.

When I'm not busy working or entertaining my children/husband I love to sew.  Here are a few items I have made for my girls.  I also love to make purses.  The one thing I have learned is that sometimes a pattern can turn you off but don't give up.  I tried to make a purse once only to throw all the material and pattern away.  I swore I'd never make another one.  But I did.  The next pattern I used was much easier and I got so many compliments.  Same goes for clothes.  I also had to realize that sewing wasn't just about picking out fabric and sewing.  It means a lot of washing, ironing, cutting, reading, cursing (I mean joy), youtubing and calling Mom.
