Ah, sweet matrimony. Here’s an easy way to pair a bobbin with its matching spool of thread. Slide one end of a rubber band through the bobbin and the other end around the spool.

BONUS: The band prevents both the spool and the bobbin from unraveling!

lisanmchen writes: I store all my prewound bobbins in a beading box. I sort the bobbins by color in each compartment, e.g. shades of blue in one, shades of green in another. That way I find the bobbin I need visually and then I just match it to the thread. This way they don't get dusty and they're all in one place.
