Prom Dress in Blue Silk Crepe de Chine
comments (1) May 12th, 2011 in galleryIt has been a tradition for me to sew my daughter's formals. This year she selected a strapless design in a lovely silk crepe de chine. The bodice has complete boning in all the seams. Despite this, plus fitting as tightly as possible, the dress would not stay up. We added the rhinestone trim as straps to complement her silver and rhinestone shoes. She then added a few additional rhinestone accories to complete the look. Additional photos and details on my personal blog.
