NanaLu writes: I go to Sewing Expo in Minneapolis every fall. Sometimes I take classes in garment sewing, sometimes embellishment. I do miss the Threads booth and the Threads Designer Challenge, as well as the Taunton books giveaway. I'm signed up for an Embroidery Conference in Owatonna, MN on June 10th, my first. And I always learn something new from the experienced quilters at Clearwater Chrysalis women's retreat (Deerwood, MN) every August.

I would like to go to a Sewing expo but there are none close by around here.

Neosha writes: I'll retire probably in the next couple of years and when I do, I plan to sign up for every day-time sewing class for the month following my retirement at my favorite store, Merrily We Quilt Along! Then I'll look at possibly going to a Palmer & Pletsch seminar. What fun!
