Meet Flora (from latin floris = flower). In Roman mythology she is a goddess of flowers, flowering plants, especially those that bear fruit and the season of spring. Her function is to make the grain, vegetables and trees bloom. That is why I dressed her in crocheted dress in blooming pink and purple colors and even gave her hair a feeling of a growing tree.

This art doll is approximately 13'' (34 cm) tall (without hair) and is made out of mixed yarn (wool and acrylic) and stuffed with polyfiber. She looks at the world with plastic safety eyes.

Flora is the perfect gift for a child, adult or collector and of course for all mythology, Rome and nature lovers.

KooKooCraft writes: Thanks! I didn't expect interest in my patterns, so I don't really do them - I just follow my imagination when crocheting my dolls. But I might think about doing it one day ;) In between you can visit my shop with all my dolls here: http://www.KooKooCraft.etsy.com
