I made my daughter Alice’s prom dress with love!  While at JoAnn’s Alice and I were looking for material to make her prom dress.  As we rounded a corner I spotted a multi-colored polyester material with the wrong side out.  Upon opening the material to see the right side both Alice’s and my eyes lit up.  Right away our minds started working and we came up with all sorts of ideas.  Not knowing for sure what style I was going to make, my heart told me to get 3 ½ yards.  Alice showed me a picture of a dress which she liked and the changes she would like to see.  As the gown progressed, it took on different looks as both of our minds kept working.   There is only a swatch of the material left.  The dress has boning in the bodice and is fully lined with Ambiance lining.   We both had so much FUN designing, and I had a wonderful time creating this work of art!
