Dress front modified from a cross over bodice to a cowl front after watching the movie "Water for Elephants".
This dress of red satin is a modification of a Nightgown and Bed Cape pattern, circa 1938 from EvaDress.com. The bodice was modified to better flatter my friend. It was great fun seeing her delight in making her dream prom dress become reality.
